Alia Bhatt’s film Udta Punjab and Anushka Sharma’s Sultan went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2016.
Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma couldn't help contradicting the idea that assault or attack scenes in movies are shot in fact and have said that depicting such scenes on screen is amazingly damaging for them. These women who have given praise commendable exhibitions in 2016 with their parts in Udta Punjab, Sultan and Neerja separately were a piece of a roundtable discussion with Rajeev Masand.
Anushka said she went into wretchedness when she was shooting NH10. "I was in dejection when I did the scene of being attacked in NH10. In any case, around then, you need it to be genuine. Particularly in movies like NH10 where you don't know where the camera is, you need to make it look practical. That time I was fine yet I was candidly low for the following two days… Being punched, kicked in stomach and all that, I was simply thinking how people can be like this. We aren't presented to such a great amount in life other than perusing in daily paper. In any case, to shoot such scenes are to a great degree damaging."
Concurring with Anushka, Alia shared her experience when she was shooting for the pack assault scene in Udta Punjab. "Really, actually it was never at any point realistic. Yet, I recall, while shooting the assault scene (for Udta Punjab), on set you need to resemble specialized about it. 'Han you come here, then this happens, then we'll do that and I'll shout and… " So the face is all 'No doubt, I'm with it, I'm alright with it since I'm acting'. All things considered what's going on inside is 'I need this scene to get over. I simply need the subject of to get over."
